The Bradford Classic depends on a small army of volunteers to ensure that the event runs smoothly.  We are always looking for new volunteers and the opportunities are as follows:-

Event Marshalls.

The day starts with a briefing at 8.30 and the allocation of roles.  The main activity is to ensure that cars move through City Park safely and park in the appropriate spaces.  Most cars arrive between 9am and 10am and it can get pretty hectic. Once the cars are parked up you can relax until the cars leave at 4pm. The main task now is to have a visible presence and to give visitors and exhibitors information about the event and the city centre.  At 4pm you will assist cars leave City Park safely, ensuring they travel at slow speed and moving pedestrians out of the way.  It is fun and friendly and a good way to get to know the cars and their owners.  You will be finished by 5pm.

You don’t need to be a car fanatic to be a volunteer, just friendly and enthusiastic.  To show our appreciation we will put your name into a hat and draw out some names to get a special prize. Please note that we employ professional security staff to deal with any difficult situations that might arise.

If you are exhibiting your car you can help by turning up early to assist with marshalling.  At least this way you will get to pick your own spot.
